Welcome to Government Industrial Training Institute Pusa

ITI Pusa is Government of Delhi Institute having about 1612 trainees from Delhi, National capital region and other part of the India. ITI Pusa was initially started  in 1946-47 with trades like  Brick Layer, Plumber, Hand weaving of fancy & furnishing fabric, Manufacturing of Footwear, Printing machine Operator, Book Binding, Manufacturing of suitcases and other leather goods, Cutting & Tailoring, Bleaching Dying & Calico Printing. During 1950-51 ITI was operated from Karol Bagh and Lower Bela Road. In 1952 it was shifted to its own Pusa campus with all above mentioned trades besides Hand compositor and proof reading to meet the rising demand of skilled labour, due to rapid industrialization of country after independence.

ITI is built on 71000 Square Meters (17.5 Acres)  of land at  a prime location of  Pusa, surrounded by lush green area having very prominent institutes in the vicinity like   Indian Agriculture Research Institute, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research and National Physical Laboratory, Institute of Hotel Management, Basic Training Centre, Pusa Polytechnic etc.
